How old were they?
Did they seem happy?
What were they wearing?

Unless you’re Rain Man, it’s an impossible task.

That’s your limbic system working exactly how it’s supposed to – filtering out information that is irrelevant to your needs or desires.

But what if… as you’re walking down the street, out of the corner of your eye you catch a glimpse of recognition – your old friend!

Your brain can’t help but react, as this is someone you know and like. Perhaps even someone you trust.
